The NHT Four tower loudspeaker is basically a Classic Three bookshelf sitting on top of a subwoofer, each in its own, optimized chamber. NHT has been using this method for towers since the beginning. The Four is very similar in tonality to its predecessors the 3.3 and 2.9. The real technical feat for us was to achieve the same performance in 30% less cabinet than the originals. The Four is a 4-way configuration, with the same driver compliment as the Classic Three plus the addition of a long-throw, 10-Inch side-loaded woofer. There are two sets of input connections so the Four can be optionally bi-amped for more control over bass response.
